1. Data Controller
The controller of your personal data is DVL Group s.r.o., Company ID: 24085171, registered office Bílkova 864/13, Staré Město, 110 00 Prague, Czech Republic ("we", "us" or the "Operator"), which operates the Zoory mobile application (the "App").

2. Data We Process
2.1 Data You Provide
- Registration data: email address, first name, last name, city
- Pet data: name, species, breed, age, gender, health records and photos
- Documents: vaccination cards, vet reports and other uploaded files
- Calendar: events and reminders you create in the App
- Communication: messages you write to the AI Advisor
2.2 Automatically Collected Data
- Technical data: device type, operating system and App version, language and time zone
- Notification identifier: a technical device identifier (push token) used to deliver notifications
- Usage data: aggregated information about how you use the App (e.g. screens opened, session length)
- Location data: only when using the vet map and only with your consent
3. Purposes and Legal Basis
- Operating the App and your account (account management, pet profiles, documents, calendar) — performance of contract, i.e. our Terms of Service
- Sending notifications (calendar reminders, important announcements) — performance of contract; you can turn notifications off at any time in your phone settings
- AI Advisor — your consent, requested before first use
- Showing nearby vets based on location — your consent given in the phone's system prompt
- Analysing and improving the App — our legitimate interest in the development and stability of the App
4. Where Data Is Stored
Your data and uploaded files are stored with Supabase on servers in the United Kingdom (London). The United Kingdom is covered by a European Commission adequacy decision, so your data enjoys protection comparable to the EU. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and access is controlled so that each user can only see their own data.
5. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share it with processors who help us operate the App:
- Supabase — database, file storage and authentication
- OneSignal — push notification delivery (device identifier, technical data, user identifier)
- Google Firebase — notification delivery on Android devices (Firebase Cloud Messaging) and aggregated usage analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
- Google Maps — displaying the vet map
- Google Gemini — generating AI Advisor responses (see below)
Some of these processors (in particular OneSignal and Google) may process data in the United States. Such transfers rely on a European Commission adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
5.1 AI Advisor (Google Gemini)
The AI Advisor feature uses the Google Gemini service. When you use it, the following is sent to Google:
- Pet profile: name, species, breed, estimated age, gender, neutering status, fur type, coloring and lifestyle
- Your messages written in the AI chat
Data is sent solely to generate a response. Before first use, the App asks for your explicit consent, and the feature cannot be used without it. You may withdraw your consent at any time by no longer using the feature or by contacting us.
6. How Long We Keep Data
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. After you delete your account, your data is permanently removed, and from backups within 30 days at the latest. Aggregated analytics data is retained by Google for a limited period according to the service settings.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- access your personal data and obtain a copy
- rectify inaccurate data
- erasure (account deletion)
- restrict processing and object to processing based on legitimate interest
- data portability, i.e. receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing
- lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz)
You can delete your account directly in the App under Settings → Delete Account. To exercise your other rights, email us at info@zoory.cz.
8. Children
The App is not intended for persons under 15. We do not knowingly process data of persons under 15.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or by email.
